Aerial Photography

There are times when only an aerial photograph can answer a customer's needs for better surveys or marketing solutions. An informative or striking shot from the air can say it all.

Based in Wiltshire, we use commercial pilots and CAA licensed aircraft to ensure that we always comply with current flying regulations and CAA restrictions for aerial work. The alternatives can be both illegal and dangerous.

The overall charge will depend upon the total flying time and the number of sites visited. If we can combine several sites in one local sortie, then it's possible that an individual site photograph could cost less than £200.

Alan Capps Photography only charge for flying hours used, as charged to us by the aircraft operator. We do not add on our percentage. Although the hourly rate for a helicopter is expensive, helicopters are the preferred aircraft due to their maneuverability which can make the job more efficient than light aircraft.

Additional to aircraft hire, there will be a photographic charge depending upon the number of sites visited during the sortie.

Photography is carried out using professional Nikon cameras exhibiting 35 megapixel resolution capable of producing 36" x 24" high quality prints from TIFF files greater than 100mp.
